I really „cringe“ when I see it on camera, but only because we all can only envision how unbelievably uncomfortable, awkward, unnerving & even annoying it must be to be in Josh‘s skin, having someone as naturally intimidating as a homicide detective sitting that close to you & literally breathing down your neck. You have no more physical nor mental disparity between yourself & the detective and one can only imagine how hard that must make it to come up with lies & a „way out“ on the spot. On the other hand it must be pretty hard to keep that detectives type of composure - again the way it makes my skin crawl seeing him get up in his face makes it hard for me to think I’d be able to switch seats with Sgt. Buie. It may seem over the top but I firmly believe that Buie‘s antics are what got such confessions out of these two monsters.
